While at a the Tokyo Auto Salon yesterday, I bought a set of Project Mu brake pads for the RX7. I’m not happy with my current brakes and a full brake system swap is planned, but in the meantime, I thought a simple pad swap would do the trick. They were roughly 45% off their current retail price, so I couldn’t pass the opporutnity.

They didn’t have them in stock at the show, but they will be shipped to my place in 2 weeks to 1 month (they have to remanufacture the front pads).

Has anyone ever tried them? I got the B-spec ones, front and rear, since I daily drive my car.

Had a set for my FD. They’re good as a stock style upgrade (low noise, low dust). Id put them somewhere around the hawk hps street stuff. Endless, hawk and carbotech offer good choices stateside if you find they’re not your flavor.

They are a decent pad if upgrading from stock pads.

Just a warning that they’re on the grabbier side of street/sporty pads.

Thx for the tip! I live in Japan, so it’s much easier for me to get something made here... 140$ front and rear I can’t really go wrong with that anyway...
